In order for us to preserve the human race for as long as we can we have come up with the idea to move 160 people from Earth onto Mars. This will help us discover if Mars has the proper and essential living conditions that we have on Earth and if it can hold an entire civilization. Doing this will also help us discover more on Mars and see if there are any other forms of life.
